My wife and I enjoyed an excellent night's sleep. The staff is professional and very courteous. Our Room Was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
Looks like recently remolded. Found room to be very comfy. Breakfast was okay seemed to me that waffle batter had a little too much water and real OJ would have been nicer rather than sunny delight but other than that stay was great and would definitely stay again.
As always, the room was just what I expected for a 2 star hotel. Nice and comfy room, appeared clean and well kept, no maintenance issues, and hot breakfast included. The majority of the staff are super helpful and friendly. The manager, however, is always less than helpful and friendly, and it's not just toward me. I see him with others too. He's often busy on his phone ignoring customers that come up to the desk (he works the desk during the days) and then if there are any issues or concerns, he would rather argue than listen. He never lets customers get a word in, always has the next rebuttal ready to say before they can even talk. This has happened to me twice over booking issues and I've witnessed it happen to other patrons multiple times while in line or while eating breakfast. He's very rude and cocky. His family is presumably his staff and they are so sweet, especially the older gentleman that helps with breakfast and cleaning! This is literally my only complaint! If you are a cheap traveler like me and choose not to pay over $100/night, and can overlook a jerk of a manager, this place is great. It also has an indoor pool if you like that. This hotel best fits my needs in town at this price range. The other two in this price range aren't nearly as nice or cozy or clean or updated. So despite management issues, I do return. I did get a room right by the highway this last time, which I've apparently never had. I could hear every truck that went by all night. The second night I turned on some sleep sounds on my phone and slept like a baby. They don't have the sleep sounds on their clocks like most hotels, just a piece of info to consider! I've never heard the highway before, so must just be on that side of the hotel!
Nice hotel for the price; clean rooms, quiet and reasonable rates. Reading other reviews I was doubtful but I don't know what other people issues have been. Clerk was friendly, property was well kept, and a/c was frigid. You want fancy stay at Holiday Inn, you want somewhere clean & a bit cheaper stay here. Also order from Mario's, great Italian food, delivered hot and fast.
We chose this hotel because it was half the price of other national chains in the area. This is not as new as the Hampton or Holiday Express but again, half the price. Clean, safe, comfortable, friendly staff and breakfast included, for the price, you will not find better accommodations. In this price range, it is 5 stars. Feel confident in booking this for your family but book through Choice directly on the web for the best deal and prepay to save 20 percent.
