Fun, mellow place.
Papa's has always been my place to go to just kick back and relax! The atmosphere is just pure ahhhh.... No stress.. no worries
Peach sangria was amazing. The place is cute and the service was great. The pizza was decent. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working on a 90 degree day.
The first time we went to Papa's it was an unexpected eye opener. We were there on a Sunday afternoon to just chill, take in a little wine, some snacks and do a little writing outdoors.
We have been back there several times now and each time has been a pleasant experience. While they may not be on the beaten path, they are definitely worth the treck there. Take a little time on the weekend to check it out and you will not be disappointed.

First, we were offered a choice of snacks and the one we settled on was a Lobster dip if i recall correctly. Next we sampled some of their wines and wow. I have been a dedicated wine drinker for decades having tasted Missouri wines from Hermann, to Augusta to the Ste. Genevieve area. And while i can say Missouri wines have come a long way in the last 20 years, Papa's has set a new bar. Truly wonderful with none of this typical something is there aftertaste in the local wines if you know what I mean.
Naturally, being pretty much in a rustic (middle of nowhere) setting, we didn't have high hopes, but we were there for the nice weather, a chance to sit outside, and have a nice bottle of Missouri wine. What was delivered was totally beyond expectation.
